Arsenal seems to be considering a move for a free agent, who has already been spotted training at their London Colney facilities. While Mikel Arteta’s team is excelling in the Premier League in 2024, sporting director Edu Gaspar appears to be preparing for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Recent rumors have linked Arsenal with several players, including high-profile names like Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, and Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. Additionally, the Gunners seem to be eyeing young talents such as Franceso Camarda from AC Milan, Douglas Mendes from Brazil, and Vakhtang Salia from Georgia.
Another potential addition to Arsenal’s roster is goalkeeper Lucas Martin Nygaard, as per reports from Denmark. The 17-year-old, who left FC Nordsjaelland earlier this year, has been training with Arsenal after also spending time with Paris Saint-Germain.
While no formal offer has been presented yet, it appears that Arsenal is assessing Nygaard’s potential. Denmark U18 manager Lasse Stensgaard praised Nygaard as a “real winner” known for his dedication, work ethic, and improving goalkeeping skills.
