Arsenal secured their place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals following a thrilling victory over FC Porto on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners overturned a 1-0 deficit from the first leg with a crucial single-goal win. Leandro Trossard found the back of the net, scoring the only goal of the game. Mikel Arteta’s side then sealed the win on penalties, thanks to the heroics of goalkeeper David Raya, who made two crucial saves.

Having triumphed over the Portuguese powerhouse, Arsenal now sets its sights on advancing further in the competition with hopes of clinching their maiden Champions League title. The draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will all be conducted on Friday following the conclusion of the last-16 fixtures.

The draw is scheduled to take place at 11 am in Switzerland and will be conducted as an open draw, meaning there are no seedings or restrictions based on countries. Consequently, Arsenal could potentially face formidable opponents like Manchester City in the upcoming round.

The first leg of the quarter-final tie is set to occur on 9th or 10th April, sandwiched between Arsenal’s away fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion and their home game against Aston Villa. The second leg will follow the subsequent week, just before Arsenal’s away clash against Wolves.
