During Arsenal’s 6-0 victory over Sheffield United in the Premier League on Monday, Saka was substituted at halftime, while Martinelli left the field in the 64th minute due to injury. Arsenal manager Arteta explained that Saka was feeling unwell after the first half, leading to his substitution, while Martinelli sustained a minor injury that prevented him from continuing.

    MANAGER’S COMMENTS

Following the match, Arteta addressed the media, shedding light on his decisions regarding the two players: “Bukayo was feeling sick and not feeling right. With Martinelli, it was a slight cut so we have to see how he is.”

    MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Arsenal’s victory extended their Premier League winning streak to seven games as they dominated Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. Captain Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute, followed by an own goal from Jayden Bogle.

Martinelli, Kai Havertz, and Declan Rice further bolstered Arsenal’s lead, securing a commanding 5-0 advantage by halftime. Ben White then added a sixth goal in the 58th minute, sealing a convincing victory for Arteta’s side.

    UPCOMING FIXTURES

Arsenal’s next fixture is a league clash against Brentford on Saturday, followed by a Champions League match against Porto three days later in the second leg of their round of 16 tie.
