Mikel Arteta targets 3 World-class strikers in the Summer transfer as he announces his intentions to rival Man City for the Premier League title next season

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could be on the verge of a significant transformation that might establish them as a dominant force in the Premier League, especially if Pep Guardiola decides to leave Manchester City. Having narrowly missed out on the league title twice, Arsenal might need just three crucial signings to change their fortunes.

**Alexander Isak: A Striker to Lead the Line**

Arsenal scored 91 goals across their 38 league matches last season, yet no individual player managed to surpass the 20-goal mark. Bukayo Saka was Arsenal’s top scorer in the Premier League with 16 goals, highlighting a need for a prolific striker. The Gunners are reportedly in the market for a centre-forward, with Alexander Isak emerging as a prime candidate.

Newcastle United’s failure to secure European qualification might force them to sell some of their key players to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. This situation could allow Arsenal to acquire Isak, a striker capable of delivering 20 goals a season. Such a signing could be pivotal in breaking Manchester City’s grip on the league title.

    **Martin Zubimendi: Strengthening the Midfield**

The arrival of Declan Rice for £105 million last summer was seen as a transformative move for Arsenal’s midfield. However, the team still needs additional quality in that area, and Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi could be the perfect fit.

Zubimendi could either deputize for Rice or play alongside him, reducing the pressure on the Englishman. A midfield trio featuring a double pivot of Rice and Zubimendi with Martin Odegaard operating ahead of them has the potential to be league-winning. This combination would provide Arsenal with the necessary balance and creativity to dominate games.

    **Pedro Neto: Complementing the Attack**

To truly challenge Manchester City next season, Arsenal might also need to bolster their right wing. Bukayo Saka played extensively last season, partly due to a lack of quality alternatives. Pedro Neto of Wolves, one of the league’s most promising talents, could be the solution.

Despite an injury-hit campaign, Neto managed 14 goal contributions, showcasing his potential. His addition would not only provide depth but also complement Saka, giving Arteta more flexibility in attack. Neto could be the final piece in the puzzle Arsenal needs to end their long wait for a Premier League title.

    **Conclusion**

With the right acquisitions, Arsenal could transform from title contenders to champions. Alexander Isak would provide the goal-scoring prowess they lack, Martin Zubimendi would add depth and stability to the midfield, and Pedro Neto would offer the attacking depth needed to maintain a robust challenge throughout the season. If these signings materialize, and if Guardiola indeed leaves Manchester City, Arsenal could be on the brink of a new era of Premier League dominance.
