CONFIRMED – Victor Osimhen’s career path to the Premier League waxes stronger as he names Arsenal and a few others as possible target

Napoli’s star forward, Victor Osimhen, has expressed his future aspirations to play in the Premier League, confirming a long-standing interest from Chelsea and admiration from Arsenal. Despite being a sought-after target, Osimhen emphasizes his current commitment to Napoli, where he recently extended his contract with a release clause exceeding £100 million.

In an interview with Sky in Italy, Osimhen conveyed his satisfaction with Napoli’s president, highlighting their positive relationship since his arrival at the club in 2020. Despite a previous social media incident that temporarily cast doubt on his contract extension, Osimhen underscored the importance of maintaining a strong bond with the club’s leadership.

“I am happy with the president [of Napoli]. I have a good relationship with him, I cannot lie, he has been with me since I signed for the club in 2020. I have a good relationship with his family also. It is always important for me to make sure there is nothing wrong, regardless of what has happened, with the relationship between him and his family. He has been supportive of me outside the pitch, and of course, I give my all trying to win the Scudetto with them.”

When questioned about a potential move to the English Premier League, Osimhen acknowledged the possibility in the future but emphasized his focus on existing career plans. He assured me that when the time is right, everyone will be informed about his decisions regarding a potential transfer.

Having previously revealed his childhood admiration for both Chelsea and Manchester United, Osimhen opted against joining the Red Devils in 2020 due to concerns about the pathway to first-team football. However, as one of the world’s top strikers today, Osimhen is in high demand, with Chelsea and Arsenal expected to continue their pursuit in the upcoming transfer windows.

Despite the interest from top English clubs, Osimhen’s considerable price tag will inevitably limit the number of teams capable of striking a deal to secure his services. As the transfer saga unfolds, Chelsea is anticipated to persist in their pursuit of Osimhen, while Arsenal is likely to explore their options to strengthen their attacking lineup.
