In a report from ‘The Athletic ‘, Arsenal’s summer agenda includes potentially completing six transfers, a move that could provide owner Stan Kroenke with a significant boost in Financial Fair Play (FFP) considerations. The primary focus for Arsenal will be securing a star striker, necessitating the potential departure of several current players due to constraints imposed by Premier League spending regulations.

Reports suggest that up to six players could depart Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window, with academy graduates Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe among those likely to be on the move.

Manager Mikel Arteta is anticipated to prioritize the acquisition of a striker for the upcoming season, a pursuit that may require offloading players to finance the transfer. Smith Rowe, who has seen limited playing time over the past two seasons, is reportedly set to part ways with Arsenal, according to insights from The Athletic.

Despite having two years remaining on his contract, Arsenal hopes to secure a significant transfer fee for the 23-year-old attacker, benefiting from Financial Fair Play regulations due to his status as an academy product. Similarly, Eddie Nketiah, facing potential competition for playing time, may consider his options if another striker joins the club. With three years left on his contract, the academy graduate could command a substantial fee, contributing to the club’s financial flexibility.

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale relegated to a backup role, may seek a move during the summer transfer window. Limited to just ten starts this season and sidelined from Premier League action since November, Ramsdale could explore opportunities elsewhere, especially with David Raya set to become Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper following his permanent transfer in a £27 million deal this summer.

Kieran Tierney, currently on loan at Real Sociedad, is also poised to depart Arsenal after five years at the club. Despite making 126 appearances for Arsenal, the 26-year-old Scottish defender appears surplus to requirements in Arteta’s plans.

These potential departures signal Arsenal’s willingness to reshape their squad in pursuit of success, with the added benefit of potentially strengthening the club’s financial position under FFP regulations. As the summer transfer window approaches, Arsenal fans await further developments as the club navigates its transfer strategy.
