“His stay in Tottenham will be short, in less than one year, he will be in Real Madrid” – Sports agent reveals Tottenham signing who is interested in moving to La Liga

Tottenham Hotspur successfully secured the acquisition of Radu Dragusin last week, finalizing a pursuit that spanned several weeks for the talented defender. Despite facing a last-minute challenge from Bayern Munich, who presented a more enticing offer, the young centre-back ultimately chose to don the colors of the North London outfit.

Having made his debut as a substitute against Manchester United over the weekend, the 21-year-old committed to a contract extending until June 2030. Despite the apparent long-term commitment, Dragusin’s agent, Florin Manea, has wasted no time in discussing potential future moves to European giants Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

In an interview with Romanian outlet Digisport, Manea expressed optimism about his client’s future, stating, “In three or four years, I see him at Real Madrid!” Meanwhile, the CEO of Dragusin’s former club, Genoa, hinted at a brief stay for the player at Hotspur Way.

Speaking to Romania’s GSP.ro, Andres Blazquez commented on Dragusin’s significant potential, predicting that he won’t linger long at Spurs. Blazquez went further, stating, “Radu will reach a top five European team! I think Tottenham will not be the last destination of his career. I see him at a top five team in Europe in the future.”

Notably, Blazquez also revealed that Genoa could have secured a more lucrative deal with Bayern Munich, surpassing Tottenham’s €30 million, which includes €5 million in add-ons. However, the club opted to respect Dragusin’s childhood dream of playing in the English Premier League.

Explaining the decision, Blazquez noted, “We would have gotten more money [from Bayern], a few million, and Radu’s contract would have been better. But we respected his desire to play in the Premier League.”

The agent’s optimistic remarks about Dragusin’s future destinations have sparked discontent among fans, who perceive them as disrespectful, especially given that they preceded the player’s first appearance for Spurs. With the CEO of his former club echoing similar sentiments, there is growing speculation about the potential brevity of Dragusin’s stay at Tottenham, raising questions that chairman Daniel Levy may need to address.

In conclusion, the recent signing of Radu Dragusin by Tottenham Hotspur is marked by a mix of excitement over the player’s potential and uncertainty fueled by comments from his agent and former club CEO, suggesting a possible short-lived tenure at the North London club.
